[Ding! Quest Triggered: A Match for Ten Thousand.]

[Quest: A Match for Ten Thousand. Since ancient times, those who desire greatness must prove themselves.]

[Objective: Slay an enemy general and kill over 200 soldiers in a single engagement.]

    [Reward: Troop Cultivation Talent Tree.]

Without a word, Long Tian leapt onto his horse, his great sword raised as he charged forward.

He moved like an arrow released from a bow. He didn’t roar or waste breath on words; he simply shot forward like a piercing sword.

Before the enemy general could even open his mouth to issue a challenge, Long Tian raised his blade.

A flash of cold light swept through the air, and a head was already spiraling into the sky.

The sight of that head flying through the air stunned both friend and foe alike.

It was a terrifying scene that no one had expected.

Even Dong Zhuo was caught off guard, he hadn’t realized his nephew was this capable, this ferocious.

He suspected that even his strongest general, Hua Xiong, might not be a match for him!

The battle-hardened Dong Zhuo seized the fleeting opportunity.

He immediately drew his sword and swung it forward, shouting at the top of his lungs.

“Beat the drums! Advance! Full charge! Kill!”

“KILL!” The generals roared in unison, leading their troops into the fray.

Meanwhile, Long Tian had already plunged deep into the enemy ranks.

He harvested lives with rhythmic precision, using the momentum of his charging horse to lethal effect.

Every swing of his blade claimed a life.

Eventually, he stopped dodging altogether, holding his twin blades horizontally as he drove his warhorse forward.

Wherever he passed, heads rolled or bodies were cleaved in two.

Long Tian’s mount was a heavenly horse provided by the system, equipped with horseshoes and a saddle.

It required no feeding and possessed extraordinary endurance.

His [Light Cavalry] class gave him a level of horsemanship where man and beast were one.

Even without gripping the saddle, he could remain stable on the warhorse solely by clamping his legs.

He plowed through the battlefield like a killing machine.

No soldier or general could stand in his way.

Amidst the chaos of battle, he entered a state of extreme focus.

He could perceive every movement around him, the trajectory of every swinging blade, the intent of every soldier…

He felt the flow of the air and sensed every attempted sneak attack before it happened.

It was a miraculous sensation. Moves he’d never thought possible became effortless in this state.

This was what people called “Flow.”

Everyone experiences Flow at some point.

The basketball player who feels the ball, the aim, and the hoop as one seamless motion…

The gamer who pulls off a “god-tier” play they can’t even believe themselves…

It is a state where one breaks through their own limits, fueled by a surge of adrenaline.

    Whoosh!

A stray arrow shot toward him from the shadows.

Long Tian swung his long blade in a backhand arc, catching the arrow mid-air, then used the force of his rotation to spin it around and hurl it back.

To outsiders, it looked like he caught the arrow with his sword, spun around, and flung it back!

    “Agh!”

The ambusher let out a scream as his own arrow embedded in his skull. His eyes bulged wide, frozen in a deathly stare.

This scene terrified the rebel soldiers. They’d never encountered such a formidable warrior before.

Even the legendary warriors Ma Chao or Yan Xing were merely brave, nothing compared to this astonishing display!

Long Tian paid no heed to the blades and spears clattering against his armor.

Whenever his health dropped, he simply cast [Life Healing] spell to replenish his health.

Because his Defense was so high, the average soldier only dealt chip damage, one point here, one point there.

Yet, many small wounds add up, forcing him to periodically use Life Healing to avoid sudden death.

This was the ultimate advantage of a healer-class: he could self-sustain.

Without the fear of dying, he could let loose and unleash his full potential in battle!

Watching the kill counter on his panel climb, Long Tian entered a state of manic excitement.

As he killed, his experience points skyrocketed.

Whether it was slaying enemies or healing himself, everything fed his progress.

    Ding! Ding! Ding!

The sweet chimes of the system notified him of repeated level-ups.

After a while, the sounds stopped. He checked his panel and realized he had hit the level cap!

Each stage had a cap. At Level 12, one could change classes, and Level 15 was the ceiling for the current tier.

Each class had four stages, each offering stat boosts, ultimate skills, and spells.

Without hesitation, Long Tian selected his next Class Advancement.

The quest was simple: [Heal allied units 5 times.]

He wheeled his horse around and charged back toward his own lines, casting [Life Healing] on his soldiers.

In his vision, a green mist enveloped the wounded men.

To the soldiers, the mist was invisible, but they suddenly felt their pain vanish and their strength return.

In a world without magic or gods, they simply thought they had caught a “second wind.”

He popped a specially crafted pill into his mouth, an item used to restore MP.

A refreshing sensation spread through his body, refilling his energy.

[Ding! Class Advancement Quest complete. Advancement successful.]

Current Class: Medical Specialist (Sub-class: Light Cavalry)

    New Spell Learned: Vajra Protection.

Vajra Protection: Dispells all negative status effects from friendly units within a 20-meter radius and grants immunity to further negative effects (Stun, Bleed, Burn, Poison, Oxygen Depletion, Freeze, Chill).

    Long Tian’s eyes lit up.

He raised his heavy blade high and let out a thunderous roar. An invisible wave of energy rippled out from him.

Every soldier caught in the wave was momentarily shrouded in a golden luster.

Wounds that had been bleeding uncontrollably stopped instantly. The ringing ears and dizziness from blunt-force trauma vanished.

They were restored to their peak condition. With renewed vigor, they roared and surged toward the rebels.

    Ding! Ding! Ding!

The system chime rang three times in rapid succession. Long Tian was stunned.

He knew [Vajra Protection] was powerful, but he hadn’t realized how the system calculated experience.

Because he had applied the buff to so many people at once, the XP gain was astronomical.

He had jumped three levels instantly!
